The ViennaUP returned to Austria’s capital in 2026, once again making Vienna a meeting point for the international start-up community. From 18 to 22 May 2026, the festival offered a diverse and dynamic programme.

In 2026, ViennaUP once again brought together innovative companies, investors, talents and creative minds from around the world. The focus was on key future topics such as innovation, technology and creativity. Participants had the opportunity to discuss current developments across industries, make new connections and expand their international networks. Numerous events took place across the city, offering not only opportunities for exchange but also insights into Vienna’s start-up ecosystem.

In addition to expert sessions and pitch formats, experiencing Vienna itself played an important role: selected locations throughout the city, as well as informal networking formats, created space for exchange in an inspiring atmosphere and invited participants to explore Vienna.

ViennaUP is one of the most important start-up festivals in Central Europe and strengthens Vienna’s position as an international hub for innovation. Key focus areas include health tech, life sciences, social entrepreneurship, smart cities, clean tech, creative industries, smart manufacturing and fintech.
